Why we built it
Two problems kept coming up for the ND adults we talk to:
- Burnout doesn’t announce itself. You feel fine, slightly tired, slightly sensory-overloaded, slightly more snappy — until one day you can’t get out of bed and the next three months are a write-off. By the time you feel the burnout, it’s already happened. The early-warning signals were there for weeks.
- The 10-minute appointment problem. You finally get the GP / psychiatrist / OT slot you’ve been waiting four months for. You sit down and your brain blanks. You can’t remember the last three months. You leave with the wrong prescription or no prescription, and book another four-month wait.
Generic mood trackers don’t solve either of these. They’re built for neurotypical defaults. They don’t understand sensory load, masking cost, monotropic flow, autistic burnout vs depression, RSD spikes, or the AuDHD chaos-rigidity dynamic. They produce data that doesn’t translate to anything a clinician can use.
The Neurodiverge App tracker is built around how ND brains actually work.
What it does today
- 60-second daily check-in. Seven sliders: sensory load, masking load, social/cognitive demand, energy, mood, sleep, focus. Optional triggers + journal note. Done.
- Burnout early-warning. When your 7-day trend matches the burnout pattern, the dashboard flags it quietly — one calm signal, not a notification firehose. Useful from ~2 weeks of data onwards.
- Trend charts per metric. Sparklines for the last 30 days across all seven metrics. See the shape of your week, not a number out of context.
- Dynamic 30 / 60 / 90-day clinician handoff PDF. Generated from your tracker data: metric averages, elevated-day counts, top triggers, recent journal notes, the burnout signal. The 10-minute slot finally counts.
- Custom triggers + journal. Track migraines, meltdowns, shutdown days, meds + side effects, whatever matters. Free-form short labels + a 500-char journal note per entry.
- Tracker-aware AI coach. Opt in (per conversation) to share a 14-day tracker summary with the AI ND coach, so it can reference your actual patterns rather than generic templates.
- Your data is yours. One-click export (JSON, full history). One-click delete. No third-party tracking. No data harvesting. No selling to ad networks. No AI training on your private data.
What’s next
Honest about what isn’t in the box yet:
- Cross-metric insights. “Your sensory load is highest on Tuesdays.” “Mood drops two days after social events.” The kind of correlations that take months of journaling to spot. In the build queue; not shipped yet.
- CSV import from other trackers. Bearable, Daylio, Apple Health export. Day-one priority once we lock the import format.
- Native iOS / Android. The web app works well on mobile browser today; native apps come if there’s real demand from Pro members.
Who it’s for
- Autistic adults wanting to map sensory and social load over time
- ADHD adults titrating meds, tracking RSD spikes, watching for burnout
- AuDHD adults navigating the chaos-rigidity tension
- Late-diagnosed adults rebuilding self-understanding
- Anyone tired of generic mood apps that miss what matters
- Anyone going into clinical appointments unprepared and leaving frustrated
How we built it
A few honest notes about the process:
- We’re a small independent team. We didn’t ship fast and break things on a wellbeing app for a vulnerable audience.
- The Raymaker burnout definition + the Hull masking research informed the metric design. The sliders aren’t arbitrary; they’re the dimensions the literature says matter most for ND adult capacity.
- The dashboard takes ~2 weeks of data to surface useful patterns — we tell you that up front instead of letting you wonder why day one looks empty.
- The free tier doesn’t shrink as we add features; the Pro features are net-new value, not de-featured-free.
Pricing
- Neurodiverge Pro — $6.99/mo or $49/yr. The full tracker dashboard, burnout early-warning signal, trend charts per metric, dynamic 30/60/90-day clinician handoff PDF, custom triggers, journal notes, the AI ND coach. Subscribing before public launch locks your rate for life. See pricing →
- Free tier (permanent). The self-screens and the full 80+ guide library. Always free, no email gate.
We don’t run ads. We don’t sell data. We don’t use BetterHelp-style affiliate models. The subscription pays for the work.
Our principles
- Identity-first. “Autistic”, not “autistic person”. “ADHD adult”, not “sufferer”. ND-affirming throughout.
- Privacy-first. Your data is yours. Always exportable. Always deletable. No third-party tracking. No selling. No surprises.
- Sensory-friendly UI. Soft palette. No aggressive animations. No notification firehose. Dark mode. Large tap targets. Reduced-motion respect.
- No “fix yourself” framing. Track your pattern. Understand your brain. Plan around your capacity. We don’t teach you to mask harder.
- No clinical jargon. Plain language. Identity-aligned. Written by people who live it.
- No ABA, ever. Anywhere in the product. Anywhere in the content. Anywhere in our recommendations.
